Szpitalne klimaty - jak wygląda szpital uniwersytecki @UFP?

No właśnie. Wyobraźcie sobie taki standardowy szpital. Polska służba zdrowia, te klimaty. A teraz wyobraźcie sobie moje zdziwienie kiedy miałam okazję zobaczyć szpital uniwersytecki UFP!
The building
Sześciopiętrowy budynek wraz z dwupoziomową
piwnicą o metrażu większym niż czterdzieści tysięcy metrów
kwadratowych został zaprojektowany przez Laboratory of Studies and
Projects na Uniwesytecie Fernando Pessoi. Projekt, koordynowany przez
profesora Louisa Pinto de Faria zakładał, iż duży wkład w jego
powstanie będą mieli studenci. Pinto de Faria wybrał więc dwóch
studentów architektury, którzy dzięki temu mieli możliwość
znaleźć się w zespole czuwającym nad całym przedsięwzięciem.
Built on over an acre and a half of land with
surface rights assigned for fifty renewable years by the city of
Gondomar (CMG), the building is developed in two basements and six
floors with a gross area of construction of more than forty thousand
square meters.
The building was conceived and designed by
University Fernando Pessoa’s Laboratory of Studies and Projects
(LEP), in answer to a challenge from the Rectory to the Architecture
and Urbanism degree program, coordinated by Professor Luís Pinto de
Faria who directed the two winning students, Miguel Correia and
Frederico Ferreira, whose award was their integration as architects
on the designing and technical direction team whose supervision also
undertaken internally by the Civil Engineering degree program.
Let's talk design
Wchodzimy do przeszklonego holu i po chwili
znajdujemy się w centrum budynku. Jestem zaciekawiona, jeszcze nigdy
nie byłam w takim szpitalu – jest urządzony w białej
kolorystyce, bardzo przestrzenny a kolorowe elementy dodają mu życia,
ale nie przytłaczają. Przez okna znajdujące się na suficie wpada dzienne światło.
Na parterze znajduje się administracja a także pokój modlitwy,
biblioteka z czytelnią, apteka, obsługa radiologiczna oraz
rehabilitacyjna, audytorium na 240 słuchaczy, kilka małych
restauracji i sklepów. Dodatkowo, znajduje się tu także
żłobek/przedszkole Pessoainhas dla dzieci personelu pracującego w
HE.
The ground floor organizes itself from a large
lobby, topped by a skylight that diffuses light galore into the
external circulation galleries on each of the upper floors. On this
level, we find the service center and patients’ admissions, the cal
center, administrative services, the religious space; Radiology and
Diagnostic Imaging service, the service of Physical and
Rehabilitation Medicine, the Pharmacy, Library and Reading Room; the
Auditorium with 240 seats, a cafeteria and convenience stores. Also
on this floor, as an autonomous unit in terms of access and internal
circulation, there is the nursery space Pessoainhas, for the children
of staff working at HE.
Na piątym piętrze znajduje się blok operacyjny z
trzema oddzielnymi pokojami – jeden z nich jest połączony z
audytorium i wyposażony w najnowszą technologię pozwalającą na
przeprowadzenie wideokonferencji. Pokój ten, według firmy, która
zajmowała się instalacją urządzeń elektronicznych, jest
najnowocześniejszym i najbardziej zaawansowanym tego typu
pomieszczeniem medycznym w całej Europie.
At the 5th Floor we can find Surgical Block with
three operating rooms, the first of which an intelligent room with
direct connection to the Auditorium and equipped with technology for
videoconferencing, telemedicine and live streaming (this room,
according to Karl Störz, the company which installed it, is
currently the most modern and advanced in Europe)
Property and investment
Szpital jest własnością fundacji Fernando Pessoa,
która jest także właścicielem Uniwesytetu Fernando Pessoi.
Szacuje się, że z konta fundacji zainwestowano 50 milionów
euro na poczet powstania nowoczesnego szpitala.
The HE is owned by Fernando Pessoa Foundation. The
Foundation is also the owner of University Fernando Pessoa. The
investment in the HE is amounted for around 50 million euros.
D’Ouro Health Card
Z racji, iż szpital jest prywatnym podmiotem
działąjącym na zasadach fundacji, nie dostaje on żadnych
dofinansowań. Żeby zachować wysoką jakość usług wprowadzono
więc karty nazywane „D'Ouro Health Card”, głównie dla
mieszkńców Gondomar. Karta uprawnia pacjenta do skorzystania raz w
roku z podstawowej kontroli wraz z omówieniem badań i
monitorowaniem krwi.
Firmy oraz inne instytucje mogą obdarować darmową
kartą pacjenta wybranych pięciu pracowników.
Because they are a foundation, a private entity,
where no capital pays or distributes dividends, to create
increasingly better working and care conditions, they found a way to
ease the health costs of the citizens, mainly of those living in
Gondomar, with the D’Ouro Health Card.
The yearly card fee gives the holder the right to an
annual checkup, consisting of a medical consultation with appropriate
reporting and a simple monitoring blood test.
Companies and other collective institutions are
entitled to a free D’Ouro Health Card for every five workers or
associates who present as subscribers.
Jak wrażenia? Moim zdaniem szpital jest naprawdę niesamowity. Oczywiście, gdy mówimy o prywatnych szpitalach trudno je porównywać w publiczną służbą zdrowia. Jedyne, co mnie zastanawia, to czy szpital nie powstał jedynie po to, aby utworzyć miejsca pracy dla absolwentów UFP. Już tłumaczę - zawsze, gdy poznawałam Portugalczyków i mówiłam, na jakiej uczelni studiuję okazywało się, że nie mają o niej najlepszego zdania ;). Ponoć w ofertach pracy w gazetach często znajduje się adnotacja "dziękujemy absolwentom UFP". Auć! Czyżby znaczyło to, że tak naprawdę szpital powstał, aby uczelnia mogła się pochwalić wysokim wskaźnikiem zatrudnienia studentów po zakończeniu edukacji na uniwesytecie?
So, what do you think? Personally I find this hospital pretty incredible. Of course it's hard to compare private hospitals with the ones that are public. The only thing that bothers me here is the thought that the hospital may be founded just to make work places for the UFP's graduates. Why? Everytime I met a portuguese they were telling me that UFP is not the best university and when you go through the newspaper job offers you may see an adnotation "not for UFP graduates". Ouch! Does it mean that the hospital was founded only so that the university can say their students always find a job after finishing their education?

Podzielam Twoje zdanie, myślę, że jest niesamowity! Nie mam pojęcia, jak mam go określić. Czysty? :D Sama nie wiem, ale jest taki przestronny, a przynajmniej się taki wydaje na zdjęciach.
